Stronachlachar, Loch Katrine

Inveruglas, Loch Lomond
Inveruglas is towards the north end of Loch Lomond, on the western shores. Home to a hydroelectric power scheme and a special viewing pyramid It is an 8-metre high pyramid installed in 2015, part of the Scotland Scenic Routes project. Piping on the Square, Drymen
Piping on the Square is organised by Drymen Community Development Trust each summer, with local pipe bands playing an hour of music on Drymen Square. The event takes place in Drymen on Thursday nights in July and August during the summer school holidays. Milarrochy Bay, Loch Lomond
Probably the most photographed tree can be found at Milarrochy Bay on Loch Lomond. The lone tree sits close to the water's edge, if you're walking the West Highland Way you will find this on the route between Balmaha and Rowardennan. Glenbranter, Argyll Forest
Glenbranter is a Forestry and Land Scotland site in Argyll Forest, on the Cowal Penninsula. It can be found close to the A815, between Strachur and the start of Loch Eck. There is a visitor centre, which is currently closed due to Covid restrictions. The site does have toilets, information boards, parking and picnic tables. This destination is another of the excellent locations in Argyll Forest.
Conic Hill, Loch Lomond

Great Trossachs Path
The Great Trossachs Path is one of Scotland's Great Trails. The path, between Inversnaid and Callander, goes through the second-largest nature reserve in Britain, an area the size of Glasgow. The path connects with other Great Trails, Rob Roy Way, West Highland Way and Three Lochs Way. It is also ideal for cycling, with sections on NCN7 and alongside Loch Katrine.
