Planning a Loch Lomond and Trossachs Wedding

It's not difficult to see why so many people choose to get married in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs, especially as there are so many excellent venues. There are picture perfect wedding locations in this feature, that help to show why Loch Lomond is such a special place to get married.

Loch Lomond Wedding Venues

So it's your wedding day, you both get into a rowing boat on Loch Ard, with the sun setting over Ben Lomond. This magic happens at Altskeith House on Loch Ard and all of the photographs above are from that wonderful wedding venue.

For wedding venues with a view you are spoilt for choice in Loch Lomond. As well as Altskeith, there is Ross Priory, Loch Lomond Waterfront at Balmaha, Lodge on Loch Lomond at Luss and of course The Cruin on Loch Lomond. Plus on the Cowal Peninsula there The Lodge on Loch Goil, with a tree house in its loch side grounds.

Some couples find their dream spot and then invest in a marquee. A good option for this are the grounds of the youth hostel at Rowardennan. Here are some more photographs, a taster of weddings in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs.

All of the wedding photographs shown are by See Loch Lomond's photographer Paul Saunders Photography. Paul photographs weddings throughout the National Park and beyond.
